Background:
Marcus Wolf is a singer/songwriter, recording artist and lead guitarist for EMI recording artist THALIA. Known by his fans simply as WOLF, he is acclaimed for his sublime virtuosity on acoustic, electric, and classical guitar. His distinctively sultry voice, insightful lyrics, and dynamic live performances consistently captivate audiences whether he's performing in concert hall or at a quaint local New York City venue. His music is an eclectic blend of styles culminating in what the artist calls "World Rock". Wolf and his band can often be heard live at New York City's hottest nightspots and music venues including the famed Bitter End located in the West Village.

2004 proved to be a watershed year for WOLF as he expanded the role of Occupancy 1 Records and produced four CDs for independent artists including an upcoming recording by Ian Jeffreys. By April WOLF was off performing on a North American tour with THALIA, and in November performed with hit recording artist SHANNON NOLL (BMG Australia). WOLF's primary endorsements currently include GIBSON GUITARS and DR STRINGS.

In December 1999, WOLF founded OCCUPANCY 1 RECORDS, a private label recording studio and production company where he continues to compose and produce his personal work. He celebrated his first independent self-produced release entitled Seaside at the popular Indie-label venue, The Mercury Lounge in NYC.

November 2002 WOLF, in conjunction with Occupancy 1 Records announced his second release, Shallow Breath followed by an East Coast tour to promote the record, seek distribution, and procure a new management team. The well-received, eclectic ten-song album features the production teamwork of WOLF and producer/engineer Robert Murphy.

When not touring, WOLF is based in New York City.
