LoPrinzi Steel String Guitars

Imagine strumming a steel string guitar and finding it so perfectly balanced,
responsive and natural to play that it feels as if it's been your guitar for
decades, not just moments.  Don't be surprised--that's just how guitarists
describe their handmade LoPrinzi steel string guitars.

One strum is all it takes to fall in love with a LoPrinzi--but as the wood
"opens up" on your LoPrinzi steel string, you'll be delighted with how the
sound deepens and grows.  A LoPrinzi instrument becomes uniquely yours
and brings out the best of your playing.

200 Series

Our  200 Series line of acoustic steel string guitars is an excellent and affordable choice for all players.
 
These instruments are all individually handcrafted by us in our shop. We use a solid Sitka spruce top with laminated back and sides in four wood choices; Indian Rosewood (RD and R), Flamed Maple (MPD), Walnut (WT) and Mahogany (MHD).

Standard Features:
Honduras Mahogany neck, rosewood finger board, rosewood bridge, multiple black/white purfling,
white binding (except for Flamed Maple-black binding is used), traditional three ring rosette, black
pick guard, mother of pearl logo, bone nut and saddle, Grover tuners, satin finish, includes hard shell case.

Elite Series  

        Base Models

Standard Features:  Sitka Spruce top, Honduras Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard, Ebony bridge, adjustable truss rod           pearl dot markers, mother of pearl logo, bone nut and saddle, black pick guard, hand rubbed high gloss
finish on body, satin finish on neck, Chrome Grover tuners, hard shell case

CM-36 and AR-38 - The finest materials and the experience of the guitar maker combine to create true harmony in these
models. The first chord you play will serve as proof of the careful craftsmanship that has created this guitar.  A superior,
more stable grade of woods are used to create the back and sides.  This concern for the basic wood is continued with the
top, where the uniformity of this fine-grain spruce is used to provide the ultimate in resonant sound projection.  String
tension is counter-balanced by an adjustable truss rod that can be adjusted full length from within the body.  This
handmade guitar is finished with an acoustic type lacquer, hand rubbed to a high gloss.
The CM-36 has Honduras Mahogany back and sides and the AR-38 has East Indian Rosewood back and sides.
 
DM-11 and DR-11 - These guitars are a smaller studio model guitar preferred by recording artists for it perfect
balance.  As in all our models the first chord you play will serve as proof of the careful attention given to every
detail in the construction of our instruments.
The DM-11 has Honduras Mahogany back and sides and the DR-11 has East Indian Rosewood back and sides.


DR-12 - This model is a very comfortable playing guitar for its rounded upper bout and overall smaller body which
delivers a sound that is very well balanced and focused.
